Exodus 33:7-11

New International Version

7 Now Moses used to take a tent and pitch it outside the camp some distance away, calling it the “tent of meeting.” Anyone inquiring of the LORD would go to the tent of meeting outside the camp. 8 And whenever Moses went out to the tent, all the people rose and stood at the entrances to their tents, watching Moses until he entered the tent. 9 As Moses went into the tent, the pillar of cloud would come down and stay at the entrance, while the LORD spoke with Moses. 10 Whenever the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the entrance to the tent, they all stood and worshiped, each at the entrance to their tent.

Premise for Tents of Meeting

• The fact that Moses set up the tent of meeting outside of the camp underscored that the people had broken fellowship with God.

• The tent of meeting is erected for divine interaction, a place where the people of Israel could plead their needs before the Lord. The tent of meeting, therefore, was a visual representation of the availability of God throughout Israel’s journey to the Promised Land. 

GOAL: To meet with people outside of the church to present them with the Gospel and provisions through the generous contributions of friends and partners of the ministry.

HOW WE ACCOMPLISH THIS GOAL

1. We go to different cities to bring the Good News of the Gospel to those who may not have a church home. 

2. We preach the Word of God and offer prayer for healing, deliverance, and comfort.

3. There are provisions that are available such as clothing, food, shoes, and household goods.

4. We provide children with toys, clothing, shoes, and coats.

5. We have a benevolence fund to help families who come out to this event for Christmas who sign up. During
