Zelophehad’s Daughters
27 …The names of the daughters were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milkah and Tirzah. They came forward 2 and stood before Moses, Eleazar the priest, the leaders and the whole assembly at the entrance to the tent of meeting and said, … Give us property among our father’s relatives.”
5 So Moses brought their case before the Lord, 6 and the Lord said to him, 7 “What Zelophehad’s daughters are saying is right. You must certainly give them property as an inheritance among their father’s relatives and give their father’s inheritance to them.
Every fivefold minister should understand that they have been called by God, by virtue and glory. Working together as a 5-fold ministry team involves recognizing and appreciating the unique gifts and abilities of each member.
Here are practical steps to foster effective collaboration:
1. Embrace Your Unique Calling: God has gifted each of us with distinct abilities. Recognize your role within the team and operate in alignment with your calling.
2. Teamwork: The 5-fold ministry is not meant to be carried out by one person alone. Each member contributes their strengths, and together, they form a cohesive unit. Complement each other’s weaknesses by learning from one another.
3. Pursue Unity and Diversity: Unity doesn’t mean uniformity. Just as creation displays diversity, the 5-fold ministry emphasizes unity through diversity. No single expression of ministry can fully encapsulate all that Jesus is. We need all five offices (apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher) to fully express Christ to the world.
4. Continuous Growth: Develop and grow in your specific role. Seek to mature spiritually and practically. As you grow, you’ll better serve the body of Christ.
Every minister of the Kingdom of God is subjected to the Spirit of the Lord. For a successful ministry, each one has to be moved by the control of the Most High GOD.
Five-fold ministry Ephesians 4:11.
1. Apostles: They are sent ones, commissioned by God to establish and oversee churches, carrying a pioneering spirit. Apostles understand the importance of church planting, spiritual authority, and vision casting.
2. Prophets: These individuals have a unique ability to hear from God and communicate His messages. They discern spiritual seasons, provide guidance, and encourage the church. Prophets understand the significance of spiritual sensitivity and intercession.
3. Evangelists: Their primary focus is on outreach and evangelism. Evangelists are passionate about sharing the Gospel, leading people to Christ, and nurturing new believers.
4. Pastors: Shepherds of the flock, pastors care for the spiritual well-being of believers. They provide counsel, comfort, and leadership within the local church. Pastors understand the value of relationships, community, and spiritual nurture.
5. Teachers: These ministers have a gift for explaining Scripture and imparting knowledge. They equip believers with a solid foundation, helping them grow in faith. Teachers understand the importance of doctrine, discipleship, and spiritual maturity.
Remember, the fivefold ministry isn’t about hierarchy but functionality. Each role complements the others, contributing to the health and growth of the body of Christ. Unity and diversity work together to express Jesus fully to the world.
